About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment team at Oaks Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking pre-operative assessments of patients awaiting elective surgery across all specialties.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will ensure that patients are prepared physically and psychologically for a planned operative procedure, providing appropriate information and identifying potential discharge concerns. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality clinical outcomes in a supportive environment.

Requirements

  • NMC registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexible and committed to maintaining and improving patient experience
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge & compliance with Ramsay Policies and CQC Standards
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
