Nursery Nurse Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable nursery in Essex, seeking an experienced Level 3 Nursery Nurse to contribute to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare, with a passion for child development and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Observe and record children's learning and development, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities, adhering to EYFS guidelines and promoting age-appropriate learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain staff ratios and ensure a safe and supportive environment.
  • Support children during sleep times and with personal care, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop strong relationships with parents and key stakeholders, working in partnership to meet children's needs.
  • Contribute to the nursery's safeguarding, health, and safety policies, ensuring a secure environment for all.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training, enhancing professional development and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (desirable).
  • Paediatric First Aid (desirable).
