About the Role

C. Hoare & Co. is committed to having a diverse workforce and a data-driven culture. We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Data Enablement in defining and implementing the bank's data enablement roadmap.
  • Implement the data governance framework, ensuring alignment with the bank's business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation and management of key data definitions and structures, ensuring consistent data standards across the organization.
  • Work closely with the Head of Data Enablement, legal teams, and LoD teams to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
  • Support in defining and monitoring key performance indicators for data quality and data usage.
  • Assist in fostering a data-driven culture within the bank, providing guidance and support to other teams on best practices for data management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in implementing and operating data management and governance frameworks.
  • Experience with implementing a data catalogue, data lineage/mapping, data quality measurement, and the development of data dictionaries.
  • Strong analytical skills, including SQL and PowerBI.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with and influence a range of stakeholders.
