Join Our Team as a Data Governance Specialist

We're seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to support and manage all group-wide data governance activities. As a key member of our team, you'll lead and manage organization-wide data governance activities, ensuring the quality and protection of sensitive data and information assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a data governance framework to improve data quality and protection
  • Collaborate with Data Domains and technology to ensure clear communication and understanding of data-related business requirements
  • Maintain the enterprise data map, including authoritative systems and owners
  • Define performance indicators and quality metrics to ensure compliance with data-related policies and standards
  • Partner with diverse teams to embed good data governance practices into key processes
  • Support security and data compliance initiatives
Requirements:
  • Practical knowledge of data governance and management lifecycle, methodologies, techniques, tools, and best practices
  • Operational experience of developing, implementing, and maintaining a data governance framework, ideally in a technology or finance environment
  • Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
  • Demonstrated consulting skills, with change management concepts and strategies
  • Experience of designing and delivering awareness and training to support understanding and adoption of key concepts and practices
