About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Morson Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a technical professional to provide discipline-specific engineering services and contribute to delivering safe, cost-effective engineering solutions.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to deliver electrical skills and knowledge, supporting effective delivery of work packages. Your focus will be on enrichment plants, site infrastructure assets, and capital projects in the nuclear industry.

Main Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include working collaboratively with team members, producing high-quality engineering deliverables, and providing regular progress updates. Additional duties involve identifying technical solutions, undertaking commissioning activities, and managing contractor activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A chartered membership of a relevant engineering institute
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant industry
  • A good understanding of engineering design processes in a heavily regulated environment
  • Experience working with electrical systems up to 11kV
  • An excellent working knowledge of IET wiring regulations (18th edition)
  • Cable calculations & protection systems expertise
  • Experience working with UPS systems
  • A good, broad understanding of other engineering disciplines, technologies, plant systems, and processes
  • Knowledge of asset management principles
