About the Job:

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our school community in Glocestershire. As an RE Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students and helping them to achieve their full potential.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Create engaging and interactive lessons that promote academic excellence and foster a love of learning in our students
  • Assess, monitor, and support students' progress to ensure they reach their full potential, providing tailored support as needed
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies
  • Help students develop skills in critical analysis, empathy, and respectful dialogue by discussing contemporary and historical religious issues
Requirements:

A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent, a background or strong interest in Religious Education, excellent classroom management and communication skills, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
