Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Director of Systems and Software to lead our Urology Division's software capability team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing and maintaining a strategic plan for software development, leading a global team, and building strong customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strategic plan for software development that aligns with divisional goals and objectives.
  • Lead and drive systems and software lifecycle, from design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and security.
  • Grow and lead a global team, including hiring, mentoring, career development, and performance coaching.
  • Build strong customer relationships, drive customer-centric decisions, and partner with customers to help shape future initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the systems and software team.
  • Demonstrate ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience managing engineering teams in the development of medical device systems and software.
  • Successful history of launching and maintaining products within the medical device industry.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures (e.g., federal/country and regulatory requirements).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrate a keen interest in Urology, workflows, clinical features, and user experience.
  • Experience with durable medical capital equipment or single-use devices.
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and familiarity with data security and patient privacy laws is a plus.
