Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Drop Driver to join our team at AmerisourceBergen Corporation. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure it is in a roadworthy condition.
  • Report any faults, breakdowns, accidents, or delays to the relevant authorities.
  • Maintain the internal and external condition of the vehicle, as well as its cleanliness.
  • Ensure sufficient fuel is taken for the day's work and maintain the security of the vehicle and its contents at all times.
  • Load and unload goods from the vehicle, checking all orders on the drop sheets to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect goods returned for credit, mail, delivery bins, and their safe return to the branch at times instructed by management.
  • Deal with damages/breakages promptly and correctly, adhering to special procedures for HazChems.
  • Maintain a smart appearance and provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with other duties, including warehouse tasks, as defined by management.
  • Meet all Health & Safety requirements.
Requirements
  • A full driving license relevant to the vehicle being driven.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer care skills.
  • Intermediate numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Previous experience of multi-drop delivery driving is highly desirable.
  • Route planning experience is also desirable.
Working Conditions

This role involves manual handling tasks, including lifting and bending, which are essential requirements of the job.
