Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Power Electronics Engineer to join our team at Leap29. The successful candidate will have a strong background in power electronics, electrical engineering, and software development. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-power electronic systems, including power converters and interfaces to control and data monitoring systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-power electronic systems, including power converters and interfaces to control and data monitoring systems.
  • Create component-level modelling of the power electronic system and its interface to the power grid.
  • Write tests for inclusion in the test plan for the power electronics.
  • Member of the design review team for power electronics system and its sub-systems.
  • Experience of PCB layout design and manufacturing support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering discipline: Electrical, Electronic, Software.
  • Experience in formal methodologies and V-cycle for Systems Engineering.
  • Knowledge of LV and MV power networks and their topologies would be a distinct advantage.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
