Clinical Instructor Hourly/ACA Position

The Utah State University Department of Technology, Design and Technical Education is seeking a Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in the Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program, providing high-quality education and training to our students.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and Primary Instructor to schedule clinical experiences for students.
- Supervise small groups of nursing assistant students in the clinical setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Remain on premises and available to students at all times, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring that students meet the program's learning objectives.
- Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and evaluations.
- Participate in program evaluations, providing feedback on the effectiveness of the program.
- Perform other related duties as requested by the Program Coordinator, Primary Instructor, and the Director of the UNAR.
- Must be a licensed nurse with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care facility services or caring for the elderly or chronically ill.
- Must be a reasonable candidate for approval by UNAR, meeting the requirements for instructor approval.

$25.00 per hour
