Job Summary

The Utah State University Department of Technology, Design and Technical Education is seeking a Clinical Instructor to join our team. As a Clinical Instructor, you will play a vital role in the Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program, providing high-quality education and training to our students.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator and Primary Instructor to schedule clinical experiences for students.
  • Supervise small groups of nursing assistant students in the clinical setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Remain on premises and available to students at all times, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring that students meet the program's learning objectives.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and evaluations.
  • Participate in program evaluations, providing feedback on the effectiveness of the program.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Program Coordinator, Primary Instructor, and the Director of the UNAR.
Qualifications
  • Must be a licensed nurse with a minimum of two years of nursing experience, including at least one year in long-term care facility services or caring for the elderly or chronically ill.
  • Must be a reasonable candidate for approval by UNAR, meeting the requirements for instructor approval.

Salary and Benefits

$25.00 per hour
