About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Neonatal Care Associate to join our team at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Preston. As a Neonatal Care Associate, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to babies and their families.

The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering safe and compassionate care, with a focus on transitional care and special care settings. They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and positive outcomes for our young patients and their families.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing care for a cohort of patients under the delegation and supervision of the nurse in charge.
  • Assisting with admission and discharge processes, as well as performing a range of clinical duties under the guidance and supervision of the team leader/nurse in charge.
  • Supporting the productive operation of the ward environment by undertaking activities that contribute to the maintenance of a safe and clean environment.
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • MATHS & English grade 4-9 or grade C or above OR Functional Skills Maths & English Level 2.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • ECDL or equivalent IT skills.
  • Evidence of Higher Education.
