About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring English lessons to students aged 11-16, fostering a love of literature, language, and critical thinking in their students.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver high-quality English lessons to students, promoting academic excellence and enthusiasm for the subject.
  2. Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential.
  3. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans, incorporating a range of teaching methods and resources.
  4. Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

About You:
  1. You hold a suitable qualification to teach English, such as a PGCE or BeD, with a valid QTS/QTLS.
  2. You have experience teaching KS2/3 ages and are able to adapt your teaching style to the current curriculum.
  3. You are able to obtain suitable references and a valid DBS check.
