About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainable Sourcing Consultant to join our Sustainable & Indirect Sourcing team within the Supply Chain function. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving sustainable practices and reducing environmental impact across our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies to meet our 2025, 2030, and 2050 targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and prioritize sustainability opportunities
- Work with external consultants to design and deliver energy roadmaps and procure renewable energy
- Manage suppliers delivering Full Circle Waste (FCW) initiative and ensure successful transition to FCW
- Commercially manage FCW, including oversight of material commodity value and return on facility investment
- Assess FCW KPIs and supplier performance to embed, amend, or update FCW deliverables
- Manage other indirect and sustainability impacting supplier contracts aligned with departments such as uniform, LPG, refrigerants, and chemicals
- Facilitate and influence joint collaboration and innovation to drive sound commercial outcomes
- Develop and manage business relationships between McDonald's and its suppliers
- Provide ongoing continuous improvement, coaching, and support for supplier development
About You
We are looking for a result-driven individual with a strong background in sustainable sourcing and procurement. You should have experience in FMCG or Retail and be able to work collaboratively in a team environment. You should also have a proactive approach to self-development, strong communication and prioritization skills, commercial acumen, and demonstrated success in managing senior stakeholders.
