Label Technician

Whelen Engineering is seeking a skilled Label Technician to join our team in Chester, CT. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for designing, printing, and delivering product labels to support our manufacturing processes.

- Maintain accurate inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure timely delivery of labels.
- Perform minor in-house maintenance and set up preventative maintenance programs with service providers.
- Read and follow Whelen Engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Familiarize yourself with Whelen products and procedures.
- Lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and design software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
