Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Label Technician to join our team at Whelen Engineering. As a Label Technician, you will be responsible for designing, printing, and delivering product labels in support of production.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and Print Labels: Create custom labels using design software such as Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, and NiceLabel.
- Label Management: Maintain label inventory, fill backorders, and deliver labels to all departments.
- Quality Control: Ensure quality is maintained and assure a clean and safe work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with production departments to assist with box labels and other labeling tasks.
- Training and Development: Participate in company-mandated training, on-the-job training, and off-site training as needed.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of computer skills, ability to set up printers, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and design software. You must also be able to lift up to 35 lbs, have good communication skills, and be a team player.
Working Conditions:This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with overtime as required. May include Saturdays.
