Operational Service Manager - ED and Patient Flow Lead

Venn Group is partnering with a healthcare organisation in the North Yorkshire area to deliver a high-quality patient-focused service. We are seeking an experienced Operational Service Manager to lead the development of the Urgent Care Directorate within the Division.

  • Working closely with the Directorate Clinical Lead and Lead Nurse, you will be responsible for leading the development of the Urgent Care Directorate to deliver a high-quality patient-focused service.
  • To work closely with the Divisional Management Team and triumvirate to ensure optimum and high-level ongoing performance in line with corporate objectives and evidence-based best practices.
  • Lead and deliver relevant projects of service development and improvement working across all Directorates within the Division.
  • Responsible for performance management of the Directorate, ensuring robust systems and processes are in place to support the effective monitoring of activity and resource allocation.
  • Responsibility for the efficient and effective use of resources within the Directorate, including development of robust recovery planning where deviation occurs.
  • Support Associate COO and Care Group Director to develop and deliver the care group operational strategy and service delivery.
