About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at Bupa. As a Clinical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our outpatient primary care departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and consultants, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience.
  • Efficiently coordinate patient registration, preparation of outpatient accounts, and receipting payment for hospital services.
  • Liaise regularly with hospital departments to ensure a seamless patient pathway and experience.
  • Coordinate department activities, including patient and referrer liaison tasks.
  • Ensure costs are entered correctly and patients are charged accordingly using relevant hospital systems.

Requirements:

  • Experience in administration/coordination, preferably in a private healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • IT literate and proficient in using relevant hospital systems.
  • Assertive, articulate, and polite, with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and be prepared to cover annual leave and sickness.
