Job Title: Engineering Night Shift Leader

CBRE GWS is a leading provider of Integrated Facilities Management. We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Shift Lead to join our Global account team in Chester on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and maintain day-to-day PPM tasks, reactive, and sub-contractor maintenance.
  • Support the Engineering Manager and be an integral member of the team.
  • Provide day-to-day involvement with Building Management Systems.
  • Undertake general housekeeping duties.
  • Maintain compliance to all H&S policies in all areas.
  • Support colleagues, ensuring their motivation and commitment to the client, contract, and company.
Requirements:
  • Candidates will be time-serviced and have a minimum academic qualification in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering.
  • Multi-skilled engineer with knowledge of HVAC, Building services (water, gas, heating, ventilation, and waste).
  • Flexible attitude with a "can-do" approach and prepared to work outside their skill base to provide customer service.
  • Prepared to undertake training as required by the post and the contract manager.
  • Administration skills to maintain computer-based and hardcopy systems for statutory inspection and test.
  • Ability to react and work on their own initiative on an on-call system.
  • Operate all systems within the building competently, effectively, and efficiently, adhering to CWES guidelines and bulletins.
  • Ensure that service providers' work sheets are signed off, quality of works are inspected, and any recommendations are escalated.
  • Planning, including prioritization of tasks from PPM's and help desk requests.
  • Reacting to breakdowns and changes in priorities.
  • Work issuing progress control and quality control.
