About the Role

A&P Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Production Manager to join our team. As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project execution plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, technical specifications, and deliverables.
  • Manage project costs, budgets, and financial forecasts to ensure profitability and alignment with commercial objectives.
  • Select, negotiate with, and oversee subcontractors to ensure their work aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle to ensure all engineering and production processes meet standards.
  • Monitor production processes and quality control measures to ensure the highest level of product quality.
  • Address and resolve technical or operational issues during the project to minimize disruptions.
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and other stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of production processes and engineering principles with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, or similar.
  • Project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in commercial management, including budgeting and cost control.
  • The ability to manage and negotiate with subcontractors effectively using strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working experience with relevant software and tools like CAD and MS Project.
