About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join our team at Alan Baxter Partnership. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of complex building projects, working closely with our clients and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and develop effective solutions.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
  • Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and new technologies to continuously improve project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Structural Engineer, with a strong track record of delivering complex building projects.

  • Strong technical skills, with expertise in structural analysis, design, and construction methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including structural analysis and design tools.
