We are a dedicated cardiac MRI unit in a tertiary hospital, under the auspices of Radiology, with defined input from Cardiology.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be £40,000 per annum, based on the location in Southampton and industry standards. As an NHS employee, you will also be entitled to a range of benefits, including pension scheme, annual leave and training opportunities.

Job Description

This role involves performing complex imaging procedures with training and completion of competencies progressing to scanning without supervision. You will work towards completing training in advanced practice as directed in the Expanded Scope of Practice.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Perform high-quality imaging scans for adults and children with thoracic and cardiac disease, including complex congenital abnormalities.
  2. Collaborate with radiologists and cardiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong will to learn and competency in either MRI or cardiac catheter labs. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
