About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our team at Cartrefi Cymru. As a Female Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, enabling them to make informed choices and live independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily tasks, such as household chores and personal care, with dignity and respect.
  • Encourage and enable individuals to make their own choices, including decisions about their finances, living arrangements, and social activities.
  • Develop and implement structured activities to promote confidence, skills, and independence.
  • Support individuals to meet their responsibilities, such as paying bills, maintaining their homes, and engaging with their community.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure seamless support and care.
Requirements
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding when working with individuals with diverse needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different situations.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to record events and maintain simple records.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive and supportive environment.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
