Job DescriptionThis role involves optimizing human working conditions and overall system performance for both existing and new manufacturing tooling and processes. You will collaborate closely with design engineering, operations, and health & safety teams to achieve this goal.
- Conduct ergonomic work analysis of Assembly/Installation activities to identify potential risks and propose solutions.
- Apply national laws, regulations, and standards related to Human Factors and Ergonomics in your daily decision-making process.
- Support Human factor improvement projects with different stakeholders.
- Evaluate and mitigate work-related ergonomic risk factors at the workplace.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective Human Factors and Ergonomics strategies.
- Perform data analysis to inform decision-making and drive improvements.
- Degree (or higher) level education in Ergonomics/Human Factors from an accredited CIEHF higher education body.
- Ability to argue/influence capacity in an engineers' environment to defend end user's requirement modifications when needed.
- BPSS clearance.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £60,000 per annum, based on experience and location. This figure is inclusive of flexible rates inside IR35.
