Join Our Team as a Mechanical Laboratory Technician

Manpower UK Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Mechanical Laboratory Technician. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting quality assessments of materials output from our manufacturing process.

Salary Details

The starting salary for this position is between £16.40 per hour and £27,820-£30,067 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This includes paid breaks and benefits such as pension scheme, annual bonus, private medical and protection plans.

About the Role

In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will have the opportunity to work in a laboratory / quality testing setting, where you will contribute to research, development, and continual improvement processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Carrying out quality assessments of materials output from the manufacturing process;
  2. Efficiently and effectively performing allocated testing processes;
  3. Maintaining clear and accurate records of observations and results.

Key requirements for this role include:

  1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  2. BASIC IT knowledge and ability to understand written instructions with accuracy;
  3. Ability to observe, articulate and record observations in a variety of settings and applications;
  4. 1-year practical experience with tensile testing techniques;
  5. A valid driving license and own transport for the remote location of the depot.
