Job Description

Job Title: 7.5t HGV Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 7.5t HGV driver to join our team at DX Network Services Limited. As a 7.5t HGV driver, you will be responsible for delivering customers' products to their required premises, ensuring exceptional customer service and adhering to all legal and company requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent DX Network Services Limited in a professional manner at all times.
  • Drive vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements.
  • Undertake all daily checks, reporting any defects and completing correct paperwork.
  • Scan all products using DX scanning equipment.
  • Load all deliveries safely prior to leaving the depot.
  • Observe DX procedures and policies at all times.
  • Manage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achieved.
  • Ensure the correct equipment and PPE are in good order and used at all times.
  • Report all delivery and on-road issues to the traffic office immediately.
  • Ensure customers receive their deliveries in excellent condition every time.
  • Deal with any customer issues in a polite and effective manner.
  • Collect goods in line with given instructions and times.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a valid C1 or above license with a valid DQC and Tacho card.
  • Maximum of 6 points on license and no bans.
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build a rapport with customers.
