We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our team at a prestigious regional law firm. As a Contentious Probate Solicitor, you will play a crucial role in managing a varied caseload, providing expert advice and representation on all aspects of contentious probate, including Inheritance Act claims, disputes over wills, and executor and beneficiary disputes.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Solicitor with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience to take their career to the next level. You will work closely with our team of experienced solicitors to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a varied caseload of contentious probate cases, including Inheritance Act claims, disputes over wills, and executor and beneficiary disputes.
  • Provide expert advice and representation to clients on all aspects of contentious probate.
  • Work closely with our team of experienced solicitors to provide high-quality legal services to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the law and best practices in contentious probate.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with 1 to 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Some experience in contentious probate is necessary.
  • Strong litigation skills and a robust understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules.
  • Excellent client care abilities, with a commitment to providing high-quality legal services.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Adept at negotiating and resolving disputes effectively.
  • Keen attention to detail and the capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to business development and building client relationships.
