Job Description

Academics Ltd are looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a Primary School located in Bristol. The role will involve supporting children with Complex Learning Disabilities in a resource unit.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for supporting children with Special Needs and have a keen interest in Psychology and Criminology. They will be responsible for providing individualized support to children, developing and implementing strategies to enhance their learning, and working closely with the teaching staff and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support children with Complex Learning Disabilities in a resource unit.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the learning and social skills of the children.
  3. Work closely with the teaching staff and other support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for the children.
  4. Collaborate with the teaching staff to develop and implement individualized education plans for the children.

Requirements

  • A strong passion for supporting children with Special Needs.
  • A keen interest in Psychology and Criminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
