Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer
\Location: Golborne, WA3 3JD
\Salary: £48,900 per annum + excellent benefits package
\About the Role
\We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Golborne. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of plant equipment and machinery, identifying and reporting electrical faults or defects, and implementing repairs as necessary.
\You will work collaboratively with the engineering team to optimize plant performance and minimize downtime, maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, and develop and implement effective preventative maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures.
\In addition, you will participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant efficiency and productivity, contribute to the development and implementation of training programs for maintenance personnel, and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues and improve overall plant performance.
\Your Skills and Qualifications
\To be successful in this role, you will need a time-served apprenticeship in electrical engineering, preferably with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, and proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repair work.
\You should also have demonstrated knowledge of electrical regulations, including 17th/18th edition wiring rules, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
\Familiarity with food manufacturing processes and hygiene protocols, as well as a valid driving license (or willingness to obtain), are also essential requirements.
