About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Associate Building Surveyor to join our Building Surveying Team at Playle & Partners LLP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities and output of the team, reporting directly to the Partners of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the successful growth and delivery of the Building Surveying team
  • Day-to-day activities and output of the team
  • Contract administration and Employer's Agent duties for various projects
  • Building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis, and preparation of formal reports
  • Submission of building regulations and planning applications
  • Reviewing staff performance and providing guidance and support
Requirements
  • Experience in building condition surveys, measured surveys, defect analysis, and preparation of formal reports
  • Submission of building regulations and planning applications
  • Contract administration and Employer's Agent duties for various projects
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, specification writing, and preparation of tender documentation and contracts
  • Ability to work on own initiative and undertake projects
  • Full clean driving license and use of own, road legal, vehicle
