About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join our team at Société Générale Assurances. As a key member of our Regulatory Reporting team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the production of quarterly, monthly, and annual regulatory reports, including COREP, Large Exposures, LCR, and NSFR.
  • Collaborate with Banking Operations and Treasury to analyze and review reporting data, ensuring accurate recording and coding.
  • Produce daily monitoring reports, including Large Exposures and LCR analysis and commentary.
  • Provide cover for regulatory returns when staff are absent or working on projects.
  • Ensure all necessary control checks are performed, and reconciliations are completed to independent sources.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree-level education or equivalent vocational qualification.
  • Part-qualified or working towards a professional qualification, such as ACA, CIMA, or ACCA.
  • Excellent systems skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and web-based applications.
  • High degree of numeracy skills, analytical thinking, and flexibility.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to prepare and present information to stakeholders.
