We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Curriculum Leader to support the Curriculum Leader of English in leading our effective and skilled team. The successful candidate will possess the skills and attributes needed to successfully support and challenge the English team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English Literature or Language, with experience in teaching KS3, GCSE, and A-level courses. They will be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the curriculum and assessment requirements, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Curriculum Leader of English in leading the team and implementing the curriculum\
  • Teach KS3, GCSE, and A-level English Literature or Language courses\
  • Develop and maintain high-quality teaching resources and materials\
  • Contribute to the development of the school's behaviour policy\

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
