We are seeking a Senior Support Worker who can guide a team of committed professionals in achieving positive outcomes for our tenants. This includes delivering dignified assistance with personal care, fostering inclusion through engaging activities, and coordinating tailored care packages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver respectful and dignified care to assist with personal care requirements.
- Encourage individuals to develop new skills, enhancing their independence and self-worth.
- Support tenants in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, which may involve scheduling and attending health appointments.
- Assist the registered manager in completing essential documentation, including support plans and risk assessments.
- Share responsibility for mentoring staff and managing work schedules.
- Communicate effectively with family members, professionals, and commissioners.
- Exhibit flexibility in working hours to meet the service's needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Qualifications:
You should be well-organized, conscientious, and possess strong verbal and written communication skills. The role requires direct involvement on a rota basis, including early, late, and weekend shifts. Participation in a local on-call rota is also expected.
