Job Opportunity for a Registered Nurse

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a purpose-built care home in the Aberdare, Mid Glamorgan area. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents and working collaboratively with our dedicated team to ensure their safety and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and support to support staff, ensuring the smooth running of the care home
  • Maintain skills and knowledge, ensuring care is delivered according to the latest guidelines and best practice evidence
  • Ensure the ongoing safety of service users, residents, staff, and visitors through systematic assessment, monitoring, and reviewing processes
  • Ensure clear and accurate records and communication systems are maintained and effectively used
  • Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
  • Take charge of the unit regularly and, in the absence of the management team, accept responsibility for the smooth and effective running of the unit
  • Help maintain the security of the building and its environment
Requirements:
  • Caring and compassionate with an excellent clinical track record
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
  • Quality driven with a desire to continually improve yourself and our services
