Project Cost Management Opportunity

Taylor Woodrow is seeking a skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on Civils Projects across the South West. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to the highest quality standards.

About the Role

  • Manage all costs related to building and civil engineering projects, including procurement and payment of subcontractors.
  • Provide financial and commercial advice to the project team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities, to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Identify, analyze, and develop responses to commercial risks, ensuring the project's financial stability.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the Civil Engineering sector, with knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with a relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
  • Membership with a relevant professional body (e.g., RICS) is desirable but not essential.
