Key Role: Forklift Maintenance Specialist


We are seeking an experienced Forklift Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repair of forklifts and other material handling equipment.



About the Role:

  • You will work independently in the field, attending customer sites to ensure machinery is running smoothly and efficiently.
  • A fully equipped company van will be provided for your daily work.

Job Responsibilities:

Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Performing routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and safety checks on customer equipment.
  • Providing technical support and advice to clients while on-site.
  • Completing detailed reports and records of all work completed.
  • Communicating effectively with the office and other team members to ensure smooth workflow.


Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • Proven experience as a Forklift Maintenance Specialist or in a similar role, specifically in the maintenance of forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems in forklifts.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your schedule and workload efficiently.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
