About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Health Care Assistant at Kavanagh Place care home in Liverpool.

As a Health Care Assistant, you will support adults living with complex care needs to live their best lives. This role involves providing personalized care and support to residents, promoting their dignity, independence, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supporting individuals with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  2. Assisting with meal times, ensuring residents have access to nutritious food and hydration
  3. Understanding and addressing individual health and well-being needs, including medication management
  4. Encouraging social interaction and participation in activities, both within and outside the home
  5. Promoting choice, dignity, and respect for all residents

Requirements:

  • Caring, kind, and understanding nature
  • Able to handle challenging situations effectively
  • Energetic and outgoing, with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
