We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Estimator to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a Sales Estimator, you will play a crucial role in generating precise manufacturing cost estimates from customer drawings, managing projects, and developing comprehensive labor and material costing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate detailed quotations from customer drawings, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, coordinating with sub-contract suppliers and internal departments to expedite progress.
  • Develop comprehensive labor and material costing, creating full routing information.
  • Engage with sub-contract suppliers as needed, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Input all data into the system to produce full quotations for the sales department.
  • Monitor enquiries, engage directly with customers and end users, and resolve queries.
  • Work closely with internal departments to expedite progress and ensure seamless communication.

Requirements

  • Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication and/or multi-disciplined engineering.
  • Ability to have technical discussions and sell WEC's capabilities to customers.
  • Understanding of RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance.
  • Experience in sales, business development, and account management.
  • Leadership potential, with the ability to manage and grow a team of estimators.
  • Technical proficiency in reading fabrication drawings and completing complex quotations accurately.
