Currently, they are on the lookout for a Lead Cost Consultant to become a vital part of their team, focusing on a significant office block project valued at £20m.

Position Overview:
  • Oversee and manage project expenditures throughout the entire duration, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and financial objectives.
  • Direct the procurement process, which includes tendering, negotiations, and contract management.
  • Utilize various contract types to ensure adherence and effectively mitigate potential risks.
  • Recognize and implement strategies for cost reduction and value optimization.
  • Maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, managing procurement, payments, and resolving disputes.
  • Generate precise financial documentation, forecasts, and cost analyses promptly.
Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess substantial experience as a Lead Cost Consultant within main contracting, with a strong background in managing diverse contract types. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional commercial insight, negotiation capabilities, and outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients, and subcontractors.
