Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to lead and support the team in ensuring maximum utilisation of resources and equipment to achieve efficient production of Right First Time products.

This role is responsible for deputising for Shift Operations Manager as required and ensuring operational flexibility is maintained with efficient utilisation of resources of the site support functions (Engineering, Logistics, Technical).

The successful candidate will have effective communication and management skills, with the ability to work with others and lead self and others. They will also have problem-solving and decision-making skills, as well as planning and organising skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demand.
  • Raise culture and behavioural values to ensure the Teams are well placed to respond.
  • Ensure the safety of our people and products.
  • Focus on short to medium term week 1 to week 4.
  • Operate within a unionised environment where continuous improvement is essential in all areas to support the business needs and working towards "best in class".
  • Build strong relationships with team members, peers and colleagues.
  • Ensure the right values and behaviours are actively role modelled and encouraged.
  • Ensure the supply chain strategy is embedded through out the team and department.
  • Manage budgets and assist in any capital expenditure projects.
