Logistics Operations Manager

Princes Limited is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations team. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products.
Job Purpose:Lead and support the team in achieving maximum utilisation of resources and equipment to meet production demands. This includes deputising for the Shift Operations Manager as required, while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and environmental frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:- Proactively manage the team to meet daily/weekly production plan demands, with a focus on short- to medium-term strategy.
- Raise cultural and behavioural values to ensure the team is well-equipped to respond to growth plans.
- Ensure operational flexibility and efficient utilisation of resources, including site support functions.
- Ensure the safety of people and products.
- Focus on short- to medium-term goals, with a emphasis on week 1 to week 4.
- Operate within a unionised environment, promoting continuous improvement and best-in-class practices.
- Build strong relationships with team members, peers, and colleagues to drive success.
- Ensure the right values and behaviours are actively modelled and encouraged.
- Embed the supply chain strategy throughout the team and department.
- Manage budgets and assist with capital expenditure projects.
- Effective communication and working with others.
- Leadership and management skills.
- IT literacy, including SAP skills.
