Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Elekta AB. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a vital role in shaping our procurement strategy and supplier partnerships.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with local business stakeholders to secure high-quality, cost-effective production materials and support development projects. You will be responsible for managing strategic suppliers, negotiating contracts, optimizing supplier performance, and driving procurement best practices from the early stages of the product development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for allocated categories, taking into account stakeholder mapping, spend analysis, technical requirements, and supplier improvement and cost reduction opportunities.
- Manage and negotiate price variations and supply risk mitigation with suppliers.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.
- Maintain system parameters and data integrity for procurement systems.
- Work closely with stakeholders to develop effective cost reduction, efficiency, and supplier quality improvement strategies and implement these.
- Contribute to developing and implementing procurement best practices.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced procurement professional with a strong background in direct materials and category management. You should have a BA/BSc degree with an MBA preferred, or equivalent work experience. Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) certification is desirable. You should also have previous experience working with purchasing systems and well-developed IT skills.
