About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at People's Partnership. As a key member of our procurement function, you will be responsible for providing dedicated procurement expertise to our Change Programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement solutions for multiple change projects, aligning with business strategies of cost reduction, improved service, and growth.
  • Contribute significantly to our annual savings target by delivering commercially robust contracts, ensuring effective management of third-party supplier spend.
  • Capture and report achieved savings in a timely manner, supporting our wider team's performance metrics.
  • Develop and execute supplier strategies aligned with business and functional objectives, establishing strong relationships with stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience in multiple category procurement activities, with a focus on IT and related subcategories, including software, hardware, IT services, and networks.
  • Proven track record of managing, reporting on, and controlling usage-based cost of service contracts.
  • Evidence of delivering cost reductions through various strategies, such as contract renegotiation, demand management, spend consolidation, and supplier reduction.
  • Strong application of procurement methodologies, with experience running projects through the full procurement life cycle.
  • Detailed understanding of procurement processes and systems.
