About the Role:

Myn is recruiting for our trusted partner in Halton, seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Child in Need / Child Protection Team. This vital role involves safeguarding children and supporting families in need. Your work will ensure the safety, development, and well-being of vulnerable children while working collaboratively within a multi-agency framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload of Child in Need and Child Protection cases.
  • Conduct timely assessments and create clear, evidence-based plans to support children and families.
  • Undertake child protection investigations and participate in Child Protection Conferences.
  • Work closely with children, families, and multi-agency partners to deliver effective and impactful interventions.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports for court proceedings when required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files in line with statutory requirements.
  • Ensure timely and appropriate actions to safeguard children and promote their welfare.

Qualifications and Experience:

We are looking for a Social Worker with a Degree/Diploma in Social Work or an equivalent recognised qualification. Registration with Social Work England (SWE) is also mandatory. A solid background in child safeguarding and multi-agency collaboration is essential.
