We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Reed. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed commentary and rolling monthly re-forecast.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely weekly cashflow forecasts on a quarterly rolling basis.
  • Assist in the development of business plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare board packs, providing key financial insights and recommendations.
  • Calculate and manage work-in-progress (WIP) and costs, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, identifying areas for process enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for finance-related projects, liaising with the management team and stakeholders.
  • Assist with payroll, PAYE, HMRC, and other statutory returns, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in accounting and finance, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
  • Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office Suite skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and integrity in financial records.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
