Financial Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Assistant Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. This is a temporary position initially, with the potential for a longer-term or permanent role for the right candidate.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the management accountant with the preparation of monthly management accounts. This will involve investigating and resolving discrepancies, as well as providing financial analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigation and resolution of financial discrepancies
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Financial analysis and reporting
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices. Previous experience as an accounts assistant or assistant accountant is essential, with manufacturing experience being advantageous but not essential.
