Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join our Responsive Repairs team in Ipswich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on our properties across Essex, Suffolk, and Norfolk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications
  • Install new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors, and fencing
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and restock as needed
  • Respond to customer complaints and breakdowns in service delivery
  • Provide accurate and timely information on work progress to customers
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (plumbing, carpentry, electrical) or NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing if plumbing is core
  • Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
  • Skills in carpentry, plumbing, decorating, or other relevant disciplines
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, work to deadlines, and plan ahead
  • Full valid UK driving licence
