About the Role

Catalent, a global leader in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, is seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Leader to join our team in Bathgate. As a key member of our Clinical Development and Supply business, you will be responsible for directing all facets of our supply chain management operations, including purchasing, sourcing, logistics, warehousing, inventory management and control, material forecasting, functional capacity planning and sourcing, S&OP planning, and financial costing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop a committed team to manage all aspects of area of responsibility as it applies to order fulfillment, including order and personnel planning and scheduling, continuous improvement in productivity, quality and business processes, and cost control.
  • Work with Business Unit Leaders and Project Management to develop and implement a site planning and scheduling process that maximizes customer satisfaction while optimizing cost effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement an appropriate site procurement process that optimizes inventory and working capital and concurrently links with business development to ensure a process of business recovery of cost changes as appropriate.
  • Manage planning function to ensure effective work order/purchase order creation and maintenance.
  • Responsible for driving performance improvements in key indicators for supply chain optimization, including MRP effectiveness, schedule adherence, reduced obsolescence, and reduced inventory on hand.
Requirements
  • Proven related industry experience.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational, and interpersonal skills are required for this position.
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables.
  • Self-motivated and able to lead, follow-up, and drive.
