About the Job

Network Rail is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Support Professional to support the delivery of its structures asset management programme. The successful candidate will have a degree in civil or structures engineering and significant experience in the field.

This role involves supporting the application of structures asset management processes, scheduling examinations and inspections, and evaluating reports to ensure compliance with functional policy and standards. You will also be responsible for specifying and prioritising actions to address defects and comments raised in reports, and overseeing the development and implementation of work plans.

As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop enhancement schemes and manage interfaces with network capability programmes. You will also determine mitigation actions to reduce the impact of adverse weather on structures assets and maintain asset data and information within company systems.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If you have a passion for civil engineering and a desire to make a real difference, we encourage you to apply.
