Claims Executive

MW Appointments is seeking a skilled Claims Executive to join their Commercial Claims team in Hertfordshire. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for servicing the claims needs of customers and ensuring that all issues relating to the claims process are dealt with proactively.
Main Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of Commercial Retail claims, ensuring accurate registration and updating of records throughout the claims process.
- Obtain and submit completed client claim documentation to insurers or nominated service providers in a timely manner.
- Provide advice and assistance to clients to actively manage the claim process and minimize lapse time.
- Dispatch claim settlement cheques on date of receipt.
- Previous experience within Commercial Claims, with a strong understanding of insurance principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team player.
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently, with a high level of organization and time management skills.
- Experience/knowledge of handling retail claims, with a strong understanding of Acturis IT systems.
- Strong IT skills, including all MS Office applications.
